Biography
England under-18 schoolboy international who signed professional terms with Premier League Derby County (1998-02:12,1) in June 1998, making his debut against Arsenal at Highbury in April 1999. His progress was greatly hampered by a badly broken leg suffered while on loan at Stoke City (00/01:3,1) in September 2000. Had a loan spell with Tranmere Rovers (02/03:7,1) in November 2002 before being transferred to Chesterfield (03/04:35,7) in September 2003 after his release from Derby in the summer of 2003.
Released by the Spireites in the 2004 close season, his journeyman career continued with Notts County (04/05:2,0) in September 2004, Rushden & Diamonds (04/05:4,1) in November 2004, Walsall (04/05:10,4) in December 2004, Stockport County (04/05:3,0) in March 2005, Lincoln City (05/06:27,10) in August 2005 and Macclesfield Town (06/07:6,0) in July 2006 before teaming up with his former Derby boss Jim Smith at Oxford United (2007-08:30,3) in September 2006.
Went on loan to Cambridge United (07/08:4,1) in September 2007 where he broke a leg and bruised his lungs in a car crash and so was recalled to Oxford. To aid his recovery, he began training with Kettering Town and appeared in a Northants Senior Cup defeat at Daventry Town in November 2008. After a second, and final, appearance for the Poppies, he joined Redditch United in January 2009. In the 2009 close season, he signed for Massey Ferguson FC, netting 13 goals in the Midland Combination Premier Division before joining Nantwich in December 2009. Scored twice on his debut in the 4-3 Cheshire Senior Cup defeat at Cammell Laird, 15/12/2009.
Moved on to Hednesford Town (2010-11:26+24,16) in October 2010, leaving in March 2012 to join title-chasing Brackley Town (2011-12:35,4lge) in the Southern Premier League. After a loan spell at Leamington, he signed for Oxford City (13/14:7,1lge) in September 2013, returning to Hednesford (13/14:6+11,5) in December 2013. Moved on to Stafford Rangers in September 2015, going on loan in January 2016 to Stafford Town (15/16:2,2) and the following month to Sporting Khalsa (15/16:3,0). In the summer of 2016, he switched to AFC Wulfrunians (16/17:16,5), re-joining Hednesford (16/17:0+1,0) as a coach in February 2017. Later became Chief Executive at Hednesford Town (24/25).
