Goal: 30 Minutes. GLYN BLACKHURST miskicked the ball in midfield – Frickley took advantage and in a 3 on 2 situation Frickley midfielder CHRIS WHITE scored.
42 Minutes: Nantwich lost OMAR MAHMOUD to a hamstring injury and was replaced by RODNEY JACK.
65 Minutes: MICHAEL LENNON had a chance to bring Nantwich level but his shot finished inches wide of the target.
66 Minutes: NATHAN SOUTHERN replaced KEVIN STREET wide left.
70 Minutes: DAVE TICKLE delivered a crossfield ball into MARVIN ROBINSON whose close range header dropped the wrong side of a post.
In a scrappy game, on a bumpy pitch, the game lacked any sort of pattern. However, Frickley did have a trio of shots cleared off the line.
Goal: 85 Minutes. TICKLE fouled a Frickley player on the edge of the box – ADAM LEE’S free kick struck the foot of a post – the rebound whipped back to leave MICK GODDARD getting across the ball to plant a free header past BEN CHAPMAN and score.
