Biography
Was on the books of Stoke City and Crewe Alexandra as a youth player but unable to break into the first team, he joined Barnton (71/72) in the Mid-Cheshire League, switching to Winsford United (72/73) in the summer of 1972. Signed for the Dabbers in September 1974, scoring on his debut – a 3-3 draw at Winsford United, 18/09/1974.
Later featured for Crewe LMR (77/78) and Rolls Royce (78/79) in the Mid-Cheshire League. Briefly served Nantwich as Managing Director at the start of the 13/14 season.
