Biography

Chief scout at Grimsby Town before being given the task of leading Nantwich back into the Cheshire County League when appointed Manager in the summer of 1968. Left at the end of the season and later managed Chorley and Netherfield.

Became Assistant Manager at Southport in the early 1980s, becoming a Director of the club. Resigned in March 1983 and later that year took up the reins at Droylsden but had to stand down after just 5 days due to illness. Returned to the post in December 1984 after returning to full health.

On the books of Birmingham City in his playing days.
