Biography
Outside right who joined from Macclesfield Town (68/69:1,0) in October 1968, scoring on his debut, a 5-0 home win over Horwich RMI, 26/10/1968. His extensive managerial career took in New Brighton, Irlam Town, Droylsden, Middlewich Athletic, Macclesfield Town (1977-78) Glossop (78/79), Ashton United (81-83; 2-0) where he also made a couple of playing appearances and Prestwich Heys.
As well as being a scout for Manchester City, he became a successful charity fundraiser.
