Biography

18 year old who signed from Southport during Nantwich’s return to the Cheshire County League in 1968/69. The right half had previously been on the books of Bolton Wanderers.
When Southport's fortunes collapsed after dropping out of the Football League, he returned to Southport (1980-82:71,1) as Player Manager in February 1981, assisted by former Nantwich boss Len Traynor. With Traynor, he became a Director but his involvement with the Sandgrounders ended in March 1983 due to personal difficulties.
