Having lifted the Cheshire Senior Cup for the first time in 40 years, the Dabbers began their defence of the trophy with a home tie against Chester.
Andy Scott is pictured heading past Chester 'keeper Mike Craven. Although this effort was chalked off for offside, Scott grabbed a brace in the 2-2 draw.
