Biography

Born 1951. Started out with Knypersley Victoria and Stoke City before joining Macclesfield Town (1973-74:55+2,1). A tall centre half who progressed through the Silkmen’s reserves to make his senior debut in February 1974.

In June 1975, Colin Hutchinson brought him to Nantwich for a small fee and he helped the Dabbers to Cheshire Senior Cup Final glory in April 1976. Left Jackson Avenue in the summer of 1977. A resident of Biddulph, he worked at GEC in Kidsgrove.
