Biography
Godwin progressed through Rochdale’s youth set-up to make his League debut as a substitute against Tranmere Rovers, 17/01/2012. Had loan stints at Hyde United (12/13:3+7,2) in February 2012, Huddersfield Town, Southport (13/14:2+1,0), Stalybridge Celtic (13/14:2,0) in January 2014 and Workington, he joined Northwich Victoria in the summer of 2014. Trialled at Ashton United in July 2015, switching to Mossley (15/16:27,1) in October 2015.
‘Godders’ signed for the Dabbers in August 2016 but left Nantwich in October 2016 to return to Northwich Victoria. Joined Shaw Lane FC at the start of the 2017/18 campaign but when they folded in the 2018 close season, he returned to Mossley (2018-19:44,2).
