Biography
A former Liverpool and Burnley youth player, Nicky appeared for Stalybridge Celtic (05/06:2,0) before joining FC United of Manchester (2006-08:62+20,13). Returned to Stalybridge (08/09:10+19,3) but switched back to FC United (2010-12:79+36,13) for whom he totalled just shy of 200 appearances interspersed with time in Australia with Mandurah.
Left the Rebels for Nantwich in February 2013, making his debut in the 3-2 home defeat to Marine, 26/02/2013. Departed for New Mills (12/13:12,5) in March 2013, linking up with Witton Albion (13/14: 7+1,0) in the summer of 2013. Joined Stockport County (13/14:24+2,1) in September 2013 and signed for Salford City (14/15:17+6,0) in June 2014.
Re-joined Nantwich for a second spell in January 2015. Served Bamber Bridge before returning to the Weaver Stadium for a third time in March 2016. Joined Trafford in July 2016, moving on to Glossop North End in November 2016 before switching to Ashton United (17/18:50,1) in the summer of 2017.
Started the 18/19 campaign with West Didsbury & Chorlton but soon returned to a higher level with Hyde United (18/19:21+7,9). Signed for Mossley (19/20:15,1) in June 2019 and then returned to New Mills (19/20). Represented the British Universities national team.
