Biography
Product of Liverpool’s football academy, he made the left wing position his own after joining the Dabbers in November 2001. Left Nantwich for Woodley Sports (2003-04) in the summer of 2003 where he scored 9 goals in 25 appearances in 2004/05.
Moved on to Carlisle United for a £10,000 fee – making three substitute appearances as the Cumbrians won promotion back from the Conference to the Football League in 04/05. The speedy winger made his senior debut in the Carling Cup First Round against Burnley on 23 August 2005 and four days later came on as a substitute midway through the second half for his first League appearance as a substitute at home to Northampton Town, 27/08/2005. Left Carlisle (2004-08:93+46,17) for fellow League One side Colchester United (2008-10:40,3) in January 2009 for an undisclosed six-figure fee.
In March 2010 he was loaned to Morecambe (09/10:8,1) and in January 2011, he moved to Oxford United (10/11:9,0) on loan. Signed for Rochdale (11/12:2,0lge) in June 2011 but an abdominal injury restricted his appearances and he went on trial at Wrexham before joining Blue Square Bet North side FC Halifax Town in September 2012. Had a trial at Hereford United (12/13:1,0lge), before signing for Stockport County (12/13:10,0) in February 2013. In September 2013 joined Ashton United (13/14:1,0), moving on to Northwich Victoria (13/14:3,0) later that month and then to Trafford (13/14:22,7) in November 2013.
After retiring from football, qualified as a personal trainer, running his own business in Stockport.
