Biography
Glyn was with Shavington United (62/63) and also served Crewe Alexandra Reserves (65/66), Winsford United and Whitchurch Alport where he captained the club to the Mid-Cheshire League and Shropshire Amateur Cup double in 1969/70. Moved on to Congleton Town (1971-73:72,10) re-joining the Bears for the 76/77 (9,0) season. Was Player-Manager of Crewe LMR and then managed Middlewich Athletic for three seasons before taking over the reins at Nantwich at the end of August 1986.
Awarded NW Counties League Division Three Manager of the Month in January 1987. Peter Ward came in as Joint Manager ahead of the 88/89 campaign and they picked up the NWCL Division Two Manager of the Month Award for October 1988 and the NWCL Manager of the Month Award for November 1989. After the end of the 1990/91 season, Glyn stepped away leaving Peter Ward in sole control.
