Biography
Gained Cheshire County League experience with Middlewich Athletic (76/77) before joining Rochdale (1977-78:10+2,0lge) in January 1978. Previously on the books of Burnley, he signed for Macclesfield Town (79/80:3,0lge) in the summer of 1979 on his release from Spotland.
Was soon back at Middlewich Athletic and in December 1979 signed for Winsford United only to join Nantwich later in the month. Returned again to Middlewich (80/81) in July 1980 before becoming a regular with Congleton Town (82/83:47,2). Had a spell with Northwich Victoria (85/86:7,0lge) returning to further serve Congleton (1985-86:76,0) after which he featured for Winsford United. In November 1987, he re-joined Congleton (1987-88:25,1) for a third spell.
