Biography
Born c.1933. Played for the reserves before making his senior debut, still only 16 years old, in the 8-1 home thrashing of Goostrey, 26/03/1949. Selected for the Crewe & District FA representative side, he signed amateur forms with Blackpool in May 1949. Returned to Nantwich before signing for Winsford United in November 1949 but he re-joined the Dabbers just a month later. The right half later figured for Crewe Alexandra ‘A’ (53/54).
