Biography
Enjoyed something of a football odyssey after leaving Barnsley, serving Cove Rangers in Ireland before playing in Sweden with MP IFK, Var TP and BK IFK where his service was broken by a spell at Halifax Town. Had a stint in the Finnish Veikkausliiga with Mikkelin Palloilijat and was on the books of Gainsborough Trinity, Goole Town, Harrogate Town, Lincoln United and Grantham Town. Had a second spell at Lincoln prior to joining Spalding United in December 2001.
Moved on to Holbeach United before linking up with Harrowby United in December 2003 and then Barwell in October 2004 and Kings Lynn in January 2005. Had a spell with Swaffham before joining Corby Town in October 2006, re-joining Grantham in February 2007. Signed for Stamford, joining Wisbech Town on loan in March 2007.
Started the 07/08 campaign with Deeping Rangers before returning to Spalding from where he joined Nantwich in December 2007, teaming up again with Dabbers’ boss Steve Davis who’d been at Barnsley when the 30 year old striker was there as a youth. Made his debut as a substitute in the 5-1 win at Carlton, 08/12/2007.
