Biography

Served LMS Sports (48/49) in the Crewe League before joining Nantwich in the summer of 1949. Scored on his debut – a 2-0 win at Lostock Gralam, 20/08/1949 – and later served Whitchurch Alport (52/53). A talented half mile runner with the Crewe Cycling & Athletic Club, he had moved from Bootle to Crewe in 1941. Sadly passed away at the age of 62.
