Biography
Signed as an apprentice for Everton (1965-67:3+1,0) in November 1963, making his League debut at Leeds United, 16/04/1966. Transferred to Tranmere Rovers in March 1968 for a fee of £6000 having been unable to establish himself with the Toffees. Became a regular for Tranmere (1967-69:77+5,21lge) scoring Rovers’ 3000th goal in the Football League.
Briefly served Chorley before joining Nantwich in September 1970, becoming club captain and top scoring in his only season at Jackson Avenue. Left in the summer of 1971, joining Ellesmere Port Town (71/72).
