Biography

Frankie featured for Nantwich just after the War when the club competed in the Crewe & District Amateur Combination, often appearing at outside left. A resident of Jackson Avenue, he worked in the clothing industry for 40 years and was a long-serving member of the Nantwich Labour Party which he joined in 1950. Tragically passed when collapsing into his wife’s arms dancing on New Year’s Eve 1995.
