Biography
The young centre half was Audley & District FC Player of the Year for 1985/86 and served Mid-Cheshire League side Alsager United (87/88) before joining Nantwich. 'Smudge' featured for Kidsgrove Athletic (89/90) and captained Audley (90/91) in the Staffs County League, re-joining Kidsgrove (1991-92) in the summer of 1991 before yet again returning to Audley (92/93). Went on to become Manager at Audley and then at re-formed AFC Norton (2025-26) in the Staffs County League.
