Biography
A wide player who was on the books of Stoke City and appeared for Witton Albion (85/86:2,0) before winning the Mid-Cheshire League with Kidsgrove Athletic in 86/87. Left for Leek Town (87/88:42+2,8) in the 1987 close season, moving on to Congleton Town (88/89:35,1) in the summer of 1988. Transferred to Nantwich late in the 1988/89 campaign.
Returned to senior football with Kidsgrove (93/94), two seasons after breaking his leg playing for Nantwich. Then played for Norton United (1997-99) before joining Alsager Town in January 2000, prior to taking on the role of Assistant Manager (02/03) in Janaury 2000 following the appointment of Greg Clowes. Assisted Clowes on his appointment at Newcastle Town in January 2007, following him to Stafford Rangers and Market Drayton. Stepped up to the Manager’s role at Drayton after Clowes resigned in May 2014 but parted company with the Shropshire outfit in December 2014.
