Biography
Started his career as a youngster with Crewe Youth Centre before signing for Crewe Alexandra as an apprentice in November 1978. Made his first team debut at the age of 17, going on to make 22 League appearances for the Alex before joining Macclesfield Town (80/81:14) in the summer of 1980. Departed for Winsford United (1980-81) in November 1980.
Signed for the Dabbers in the 1984 close season, making his debut in the 2-0 home defeat to Brigg Town in the FA Vase, 06/10/1984, and later kept goal for Whitchurch Alport.
