Nantwich’s six match winning streak came to an abrupt end at Worksop Town’s Sandy Lane.
Two goals from Alistair Taylor and a first-half Ashley Burbeary strike lifted the Tigers out of the relegation zone.
The Dabbers side saw three changes with new signings Tom Urwin and Dave Macpherson coming in for Marco Adaggio and the suspended Aleksandrs Solovjovos, the other change saw Ben Mills return to the starting line-up in place of Michael Lennon.
Worksop were the quickest out of the blocks and Vincent’s early shot was a sign of what was to come.
The hosts should have taken the lead on 24 minutes when Massiah McDonald intercepted Mat Bailey’s backwards header and rounded Jonathan Brain but the striker blasted over from six yards.
In a half where Nantwich found chances hard to come by, Darren Moss had the best opportunity when he volleyed just over from Urwin’s cross.
The deadlock was broken just after the half hour mark when Burbeary cut inside Matt Lowe and slotted into Brain’s left hand corner.
Bailey could have equalised in first half stoppage-time but he headed Sean Cooke’s free kick wide.
The Tigers doubled their lead just three minutes into the second half, the impressive Jamie Jackson laid the ball off to Taylor and the winger’s 20 yard strike flew past Brain into the top corner.
Nantwich looked to reply quickly and the debutant Urwin hit a good shot after Cooke had squared the ball to him but Jon Worsnop saved well.
The game was put beyond all doubt though just after the hour mark, Worksop took advantage of the Dabbers committing men forward and despite McDonald’s shot being well saved by Brain, Vincent managed to smash home his second of the day.
Substitute Adaggio had a good chance for a consolation but he scuffed wide from Lennon’s cut back.
Worksop could have made it four in injury time but Sam Duncum’s shot crashed against the post.
