Biography
Originally with Eastwood Hanley (1975-77), he joined Macclesfield Town during the 1977/78 campaign, having already scored 18 goals that season for the Potteries outfit. Made his Macc debut in February 1978 but failed to find the back of the net in his short time at the Moss Rose (77/78:9,0) where he figured predominantly as a midfielder.
Returned to Eastwood, having a short stint at Leek Town (1979-80) and Congleton Town (80/81:27,11), joining Nantwich from Eastwood in July 1981. Made his debut in the 3-2 home win over Burscough, 15/08/1981 but left the club in November 1981 along with his brother, John.
