Biography
Started out with Winnington Lads Club and Lostock Gralam before coming to prominence as a teenager with Northwich Victoria (74/75:7) before crossing town to Witton Albion (75/76:1+1,0) in November 1975 but left a month later. Later returned to Northwich (77/78:6,0), going on to serve Barnton and Stafford Rangers (79/80:3,0,lge) during the inaugural season of the Alliance Premier League.
The right back left ‘Boro for Nantwich in January 1980, making his debut in the 2-1 defeat at home to St Helens Town, 02/02/1980. Later linked up again with Northwich (1983-84:2+3,0) and assisted Winsford United (86/87).
