Biography
Wayne made his debut for Rhyl (73/74) against Oldham Athletic Reserves as a 16-year old, 15/09/73, and served Bangor City before joining Manchester City for a short spell. Unable to progress at City, he returned to Welsh soccer with Colwyn Bay from where he joined Nantwich in October 1979. Scored on his debut, a 2-2 draw at New Mills, 20/10/1979. Moved on to Droylsden (1979-80) in April 1980. Son of Welsh international Ray Lambert who made over 300 appearances for Liverpool.
