Biography
Mo spent most of his youth at the Dutch academy of Alphense Boys, making his first team debut for Alphense Boys (11/12) at the age of 18.
Moved to Manchester in 2013, joining Northwich Victoria the following year. At the beginning of the 16/17 season, joined Glossop North End, midway through the season signing for Mossley where he spent 12 months. Spent the last few months of the 17/18 season at Droylsden before switching to Curzon Ashton in the summer of 2018.
In August 2021, joined Warrington Town but suffered a cruciate ligament injury and after rehabilitation, joined Stalybridge Celtic in March 2023. Alongside his brother Ahmed, he joined Nantwich Town in August 2023, moving on in December 2023 to Atherton Collieries. In July 2024, he signed for Cymru North club Llandudno and in July 2025 joined neighbours CPD Y Rhyl 1879.
Capped by Somalia, he made his international debut in a World Cup qualifier against Niger, 13/10/2015.
