Biography
Portuguese under-18 international who came through the ranks at Benfica before appearing for FC Alverca (1996-98:47) in the Portuguese Second Division. Crossed the Spanish border to Levante UD (1998-01:130). Back in Portugal he helped CF Estrela da Amadora (2002-04:92) gain promotion to the top flight. Kept goal for SC Olhanense (05/06:2) in Faro before moving to England.
Joined Tamworth playing 40 times, mainly in the Conference, before departing in 2008. Then donned the gloves for Atherstone Town and Hereford United (08/09:1). Signed for Macclesfield Town (2009-11:100) in the summer of 2009 and was voted Player of the Year in 11/12. After being released by the Silkmen, joined Harrogate Town (12/13:13) in August 2012. Re-joined Tamworth in the summer of 2013 and kept goal for Worcester City (2013-14:44) before signing for Nantwich in August 2015. Made his debut in the 2-1 away win at Marine, 22/08/2015.
Moved on to Redditch United (15/16:6) and signed for Rushall Olympic (16/17:26) in July 2016. Switched to Hednesford Town (2017-18:5) in the 2017 close season, serving as goalkeeping coach whilst making an occasional appearance and also being loaned to Leamington (17/18). Gained 14 international caps for Cape Verde.
