Biography

Born c.1926. Played in the Crewe League for Wybunbury Athletic (48/49), converting from a defender to centre forward before signing for Nantwich in March 1949. Scored on his debut – a 3-1 defeat at Runcorn Athletic, 15/04/1949.
Re-joined the Dabbers in the summer of 1955 after returning from teacher training college in Leicester. Also served Willaston White Star (56/57) in the Crewe & District League. A school teacher by profession.
