Biography

Signed for Atherton LR (01/02:7+1,0) from local football in January 2001, moving on to Stalybridge Celtic (2002-04:68,0) in August 2002. Signed for Ashton United (05/06:4,0) in the summer of 2005, switching to Hyde United (2005-06:31+21,1) before returning to Ashton (2007-12:184,0).
A gutsy left back, he won the Players’ Player of the Year in 2010 but was hampered by injuries in the following three campaigns.
Followed Danny Johnson to Nantwich in the summer of 2013 having made nearly 200 appearances for the Robins. Made his Nantwich debut in the 2-0 home win over King’s Lynn, 17/08/2013 but a broken leg restricted his appearances and he joined New Mills in February 2014.
Moved on to Droylsden ahead of the 14/15 campaign, returning to the Butchers Arms in December 2014 after a short stint back at New Mills. Joined Trafford in July 2015, stepping up to the role of Assistant Manager in the summer of 2017.
