Biography
Joined Port Vale (1986-98:427,26) as a youngster after being released by Manchester City. Gave great service to the Valiants also going on loan to Northwich Victoria (91/92:9,0lge) and Kidsgrove Athletic (92/93). Had two spells at Chester City (1999-01:55,4), initially joining the club on loan from Wigan Athletic (1998-99:31,1) in February 2000. Also had a loan stint at Mansfield Town (99/00:6,0) in October 1999.
Following his release by Chester, he briefly assisted Stone Dominoes in October 2002 before returning to Kidsgrove as Manager in December 2002 after a spell as Caretaker. Returned to Port Vale (2004-05:4,0) as player-coach and also turned out for Nantwich - making his debut in the 3-0 home win over Trafford, 15/04/2006.
Later had brief spells as Caretaker Manager at Port Vale (September 2008) and York City (September 2010) and appeared for Alsager Town (10/11). Later was Assistant Manager at Hereford United (12/13) and Southport (14/15).
