Biography

Scottish Youth international who was with New Blackburn Athletic before signing for Dundee United in September 1965 and then Sunderland in 1967, without appearing in the League for either. However he did then make two League appearances for Luton Town (67/68) before dropping into non-league with Stevenage Town and then Cambridge City before Chelmsford City paid £500 for him at the start of 1969. Despite being ever present he didn't settle in Essex and Wimbledon signed him on a free transfer in March 1969. Returned to Scotland spending two seasons with Berwick Rangers (1970-71) before settling in the North West of England.

Assisted Northwich Victoria (71/2:28,8) before joining Nantwich and topped the Dabbers’ scoring charts in his only season at London Road. Returned to Northwich Victoria (73/74:8,2) before spending three seasons at Stafford Rangers (1973-75) where he was part of the squad that reached the 1976 FA Trophy Final.
