Biography
Centre half who clocked up over 500 appearances for Witton Albion broken by a spell at Nantwich. Debuted for Witton (1967-71:216+5) in November 1967 and after giving five years’ service joined Nantwich in the summer of 1972. Appointed captain and made his debut in the 1-0 home defeat to Hyde United, 12/08/1972. Returned to Witton (1973-79:312+6) and continued to serve the Albion through to December 1979. Didn’t find the back of the net in any of his games with either Witton or Nantwich!
