Biography
Custodian who initially joined Nantwich from Haslington Villa in November 1960, having appeared for Stoke City’s ‘B’ team (59/60). After leaving London Road, he signed for Mid-Cheshire League rivals Sandbach Ramblers in the summer of 1962 (1962-66).
Returned to Nantwich in October 1967, appearing in the 67/68 Manchester League campaign and making occasional appearances in the Cheshire County League a couple of years later. Moved on to Whitchurch Alport (69/70), helping them to the Mid-Cheshire League and Shropshire Amateur Cup double.
