Biography

Former Winsford United custodian who joined Northwich Victoria (63/64:19) in the 1963 close season, returning to the Blues in November 1963. Signed for Nantwich in the summer of 1967, hardly touching the ball in a 8-0 home hammering of Radcliffe Borough Reserves on his debut, 19/08/1967.
‘Danny’ made occasional appearances for the Dabbers and Winsford as a centre forward and later kept goal for Congleton Town (71/72:43), Middlewich Athletic (76/77) and Rolls Royce (78/79), returning to Nantwich to serve as trainer during the 1979/80 season. His son, Jason, also played for Northwich Victoria.
