Biography

Alf made a few appearances for the Dabbers just after the War, having a period with Audlem (47/48) and later joining Whitchurch Alport (48/49) and Willaston White Star (52/53) before again returning to Nantwich. Re-joined Willaston (55/56) serving the village outfit with his brother Frank into the next decade interspersed with some time back at Nantwich.

An employee at the Baronia clothing factory, he also played cricket for Nantwich CC.
