Biography

Originally a right winger, Terry came through the youth ranks at Wolverhampton Wanderers before appearing for Congleton Town (72/73:14,0). Joined Witton Albion (74/75:9+1,0) in the summer of 1974 after which he became a reserve player for Macclesfield Town (1975-77:68+2,4). Progressed to the first team and was voted the Silkmen’s Player of the Year for 76/77 before getting seriously injured. Drafted in by Cliff Hodgkinson to assist the Dabbers in March 1986.

Outside of football he was a driving instructor and well known for his hobby of breeding budgerigars.
