Biography

Former custodian for Crewe Corinthians (46/47) who joined Nantwich in August 1947 as a deputy for Johnny Middleton. Made his debut in the 3-1 defeat at Barnton, 30/08/1947. Switched to Crewe League rivals Foden’s in November 1947. Nicknamed ‘Happy’, he was back at London Road a month later.
