Biography

Played for Crewe Schoolboys and was part of the Nantwich youth team that crashed 23-0 to Manchester United in the 1952 FA Youth cup. Appeared for Nantwich reserves in the Crewe League before making his senior bow in the 5-1 defeat at Linotype, 27/09/1952. Also turned out for Wrenbury.
