Biography
Understudy to George Westwell who made occasional appearances during the 1951/52 Mid-Cheshire League campaign, having kept goal for the Reserve and ‘A’ teams of Crewe Alexandra (47/48), LMS Sports (47/48). Then served Baronia Rangers (51/52) before becoming a mainstay between the sticks at Willaston White Star (1954-57). Father of Paul.
