Biography

The centre half served Wheelock Albion (47/48) and then Sandbach Town (1950-51) in the Mid-Cheshire League before signing for the Dabbers during the 1953 close season, becoming a regular during the mid-1950s.
Outside football, he clocked up 43 years' service working at Midland Rollermakers.
