Biography

The outside left was on the books of Crewe Alexandra before joining Nantwich in the summer of 1958. Scored on his debut – a 3-2 win at home to Middlewich Athletic, 23/08/1958. Employed at Crewe works, he was due to go on trial at Stoke City but badly broke his leg playing at Stockton Heath in March 1959 – an injury which ended his football career.
