Biography

Pete stepped up from Crewe Alexandra’s ‘A’ (53/54) and reserve sides to make his League debut at home to Workington, 25/04/1955. Featured in one more League game for the Alex before dropping into non-league circles with Witton Albion (57/58:10,0) during the 57/58 season. and then Welsh League First Division side Colwyn Bay (58/59).

A utility player, he joined Nantwich in September 1959, making his debut in the 4-0 home defeat to Lostock Gralam, 26/09/1959. Later served Congleton Town reserves. A joiner at British Rail, he resided in Lawton Street, Crewe.
