Biography

Left back who had trials with Southampton and Port Vale before stepping up to League football with Gillingham. The teenage mechanic from Bolton featured for Nantwich in the Mid-Cheshire League in 1962/63, helping win the league, league cup and Cheshire Amateur Cup the following season.
Left Nantwich for Gillingham in January 1965, making 8 League appearances spanning four seasons with the Kent side.
Went on loan to Bedford Town in November 1967 in what became a permanent move before joined Stevenage Athletic (1969-70:32,2) in March 1970. Left Stevenage for Bletchley Town in January 1971.
