Biography
Andy joined West Bromwich Albion from school, spending two years at the Hawthorns before switching to Shrewsbury Town. Unable to break into their League side, he signed for Macclesfield Town (84/85:6,0), making his debut in September 1984. Moved on to Leek Town where he spent 14 months and then four years at Buxton (1987-1991:163+23), where he suffered a broken leg.
Switched to Nantwich in December 1991 - scoring just three minutes into his league debut, a 2-1 win over Vauxhall GM, 03/12/1991. Moved on to Eastwood Hanley (92/93) in the summer of 1992, then served Warrington Town (93/94:4+1,1) and Knypersley Victoria (94/95) where he was also responsible for the reserve side. Later went on to manage Stone Dominoes (1997-04), earning the NWCL Div 2 Manager of the Month award for November 2002. Was Joint Manager of Rocester with Damian Grocott until the pair resigned in January 2008. They became coaches at Leek Town in the summer of 2008 and were appointed Joint Managers of Alsager Town in February 2011. Returned as sole Rocester boss in June 2018.
