Biography

Dave played Crewe League football with Crewe Albion (1957-58) before joining Nantwich from Whitchurch Alport (1962-63) in November 1963, making his debut in the 3-0 home win over ICI Alkali, 30/11/1963. During National Service, the left half was a member of the Army representative side and played for Caledonian FC in Nairobi.

A resident of Coppenhall, he helped the Dabbers secure a memorable treble in 63/64 of Mid-Cheshire League, Cheshire Amateur Cup and Mid-Cheshire League cup.
