Biography

Stepped up from Mid-Cheshire League football when joining Nantwich at the age of 26 in the 1984 close season. Made his debut as a centre forward in the 4-0 defeat at Rossendale United, 11/08/1984, and soon converted to a centre half. Gave good service to Congleton Town (1987-89:139,7) before returning to Jackson Avenue in the 1990 close season but by November 1990 he was back at Booth Street.
