Biography

Centre half who started the 1975/76 campaign with Macclesfield Town but just made a few senior appearances. Started the following season at Witton Albion (76/77:2) but returned to the Moss Rose for the following campaign, taking his Silkmen appearances to 29 (scoring once).
Joined the Dabbers in February 1983 during the club’s inaugural season in the NW Counties League. Made his debut in the 2-0 win at St.Helens Town, 19/02/1983.
Son of former Port Vale full back Reg Potts.
