Biography

Left sided player who featured for Macclesfield Town reserves (75/76) before joining Ashton United (76/7:3,0) and then Wigan Athletic. Broke into the first team on his return to Macclesfield (77/78:21,1) in the summer of 1977. Signed for Congleton Town (81/82:4,0), leaving with Roy Campbell when he became Dabbers’ boss in January 1983.

Scored on his Dabbers’ debut, a 3-2 home defeat to Accrington Stanley, 15/01/1983, and briefly appeared at the start of the following campaign before returning to Booth Street to play for the reserves. Left Congleton for Mossley (1983-84:19,2) in April 1984. Released in May 1985, he appeared for Droylsden (85/86).
