Biography

Had a number of spells at Jackson Avenue in the early 1980s, after appearing for Rolls Royce (1978-79), helping the Motormen to the Cheshire Amateur Cup Final in April 1979. Then served Congleton Town (80/81:6,0) and Whitchurch Alport (81/82) before moving to Nantwich with Manager Peter Gowans in the summer of 1982.

Debuted in the Dabbers’ inaugural match in the NW Counties League – a 4-0 defeat at home to Rhyl, 14/08/1983. After a stint away, he returned to Jackson Avenue in December 1982. Figured briefly in the 84/85 campaign before returning to the club again in November 1985.
