Nantwich snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in a tense encounter against Vodkat North West Counties side Ramsbottom United.
Goals from Mat Bailey and Sean Cooke in the closing stages set up an exciting away trip to highflying Northwich Victoria.
The Dabbers weren’t at their fluent best though and fell behind on ten minutes as Mark Drew caught Jonathan Brain unaware to rifle home from 30 yards.
A Nantwich equaliser could have come ten minutes later when Matt Lowe’s sweeping cross was met by Ben Mills but the Dabbers leading marksman blasted over.
The Rams could have doubled their lead on the stroke of half time when Darren Moss’ back pass was intercepted by Ryan Moore but the United winger was denied by Brain.
If Jimmy Quinn was looking for a quick reaction after half-time he certainly got it as Fraser McLachlan rattled the bar only a minute into the second half.
Moments later Cooke and Bailey forced a double save from the Ramsbottom goalkeeper before Cooke again went close after beating two defenders.
Ramsbottom weren’t to be tied down though and but for Brain they would have made it two, it was Drew again who shot from range but the ex-Port Vale man pushed the ball onto the bar.
After another chance had fallen to Mills the Dabbers eventually got their deserved equaliser on 87 minutes as Bailey glanced Matt Lowe’s cross into the far corner.
The Dabbers hadn’t finished their though and on 90 minutes Cooke, in a similar fashion to his goal at FC United, curled a 22 yard free kick in off the underside of the bar.
DABBERS MAN OF THE MATCH: Mat Bailey (The centre-half commanded the defence superbly and went on to get the all-important equaliser.)
